There's still a few gallons in when the light comes on.

I think there's a TSB on this. My 04s does this occasionally. Did it last night matter of fact. I really need to take it in.

Jumping the gun a bit aren't you? Did you use your credit card. Some gas stations have a cut off policy when the a certain dollar amount is reached. It could have been the pump.

The gas light on my 2006 G35x comes on at about 4 gallons. I'd be wary of driving with much less than 2 though. The last time I drove into the gas station and put 18.5 gallons in I was running a bit rough for the last mile or so.

actually, its really common in the 04 coupes. Mine has been doing that for the past two winters, and so has my friend's. I took it in twice to get it fixed, and they took apart everything and said they fixed it, but it's been doing it again. I wouldn't worry about it...but even if you take it in, in my experience, they really can't do anything permanent to fix it.

I know we all can see that this is an issue and many of us know that it has a service bulletin (05031 - http://www.infinitihelp.com/Ownershi...ITB05-031.htm). They can do some work, I just had mine done, but have yet to fill it. Hopefully it will work and not cause any more problems. For such a sweet car, they do have their fair share of problems.

I've been noticing that when I fill up, (gas overflowing from the filler neck) that My guage doesn't go all the way to full. Could this be related to the service bulliten?
