Dyno results from tuning with Technosquare and Motordyne!
Hey guys, if you recall I had a dyno session a while back and was disappointed in the numbers realized, but I saw a lot of room for improvement. Leaning out the AF ratio and the motordyne spacer did wonders! I had TS tune the car some more and the results were staggering!
All dynos were performed at the same dyno facility and is a dynapack system. I know that some will argue that a dynojet is better than a dynapack, but the main reason that I am posting this is to show gains as no one can really argue this. I personally prefer dynapack for more accurate hp readings for gains and tuning.
Here are the results
296.1 HP & 272 TQ Dyno Graph
AF Ratio (AF readings on the graph are 1.0 higher than actual readings)
Dyno Mean Numbers
-ARC Intake
-350evo throttle body
-Crawford Headers
-Helix Test Pipes
-JIC Y-Pipe
-JIC Single Exit exhuast
-Motordyne Plenum Spacer 5/16"
-One Step Colder Plugs
-Sun Cyberspeed Ground System
-UR Pullies
-One Exhaust Leak
The old dyno graphs:
Old Dyno Graph
Old AF ratio
Old Mods:
-ARC Intake
-350evo throttle body
-Crawford Headers
-Helix Test Pipes
-JIC Y-Pipe
-JIC Single Exit exhuast
-One Step Colder Plugs
-Sun Cyberspeed Ground System
-UR Pullies
-2 Exhaust Leaks

Hands down the Test pipes and plenum spacer from Motordyne was the best bang for buck. The TS reflash brought it all together nicely
Here is an excerpt of a post I made on another forum for my NA picks:
"My picks for basic NA bolt-ons without going internal:
Intakes: Stillen, Gruppe-M, ARC for high end power or Cold Air units for mid-range power. Stay away from short ram intakes that are not enclosed.
Headers: Crawfords if you want to extract max power. Strup, DC, etc if you want cheap hp and only looking for bang for buck.
Cats: Crawford High flow cats or Test pipes
Engine Management: Technosquare reflash, Utec for those in high altitude, or Full standalone Motec for full tuning
Throttle Body: 350evo, proflow, crawford
Plenum Mods: Motordyne 5/16" spacer with Iso thermal system for 287 HP motor and MREV mod for Revup motor, or Crawford Cast plenum
Exhaust: JIC single exit ti for max weight savings, Power Amuse Ti
Gears: 350evo 3.917, Central 20 3.917
LSD: Nismo, Quaife, Kaaz, etc
Underdrive: UR Crank Pulley
Cooling: Koyo Radiator, Motordyne Coolant Control Valve or Motordyne Copper thing."

I dont think dynopak are more accurate bc u take off your wheels and measure hp without the extra variables. Most accurate would be your mustang and most common dyno readings come from dynojet. Try dynoing it on a dynojet and I'm sure it will be around the 260s.
