MD spacer w/ ISO kit all the way! - best bang for the buck and can be stealth if your dealer is anti-mods.

+1 on motordyne..

but to be serious the motordyne 1/2" spacer dynoed like 1hp above the crawford upperplenum on a regular 350z (not track). so your good regulardless of which one you get but i'd recommend the motordyne spacer cause they also include their ISO Thermal kit.. lets just say after hard runs you'll be able to rest your hand on top of your plenum.. now thats a TRUE cold air system.

Also IMO the crawford looks like a toster oven after its been on fire

Spacer

I just had a spacer put on my car. It is the AAM angled plenum spacer. If you will look at this web address you will find dyno sheets on the spacers performance. http://www.alteredatmosphere.com/350z_1.asp

Here is a photo of it on my car.

Check out the Winter Edition of SportZ magazine. The Motordyne Spacer is consistently better than the AAM spacer, and in most ways equal to the Crawford (give and take here and there). According to the results, probably your best bet is the Motordyne, but you need to make up your own mind.

Another consideration is that if you want someone to look under your hood and be impressed, the Crawford makes a bolder statement, that may be worth the extra cost to you.

i love how the Crawford is called crap even tho the results are nearly identical - LOL. I guess if YOU got it then it's the best. Wonderful advice given out here by those who've only tried one of the two items being asked about.

Crap? . . . Don't be so thin skinned. Two of the members above say it's a toss up between the 2. What you are reading is simply the qualified testimonials of happy MotorDyne customers.

I'm just filling in the **** blanks in 99atlantic's post above. I have noticed if anyone ever says anything negative regarding a Motordyne product that you are there to equalize the thread...but you can rest easy as I have objectively recommended their spacer to fellow G'er on a couple of occasions. If the power's the same the price is all that matters to me. The extra seal to worry about is kinda scary but I'd get over it just like when I got the UR!

Equalize? . . . LOL . . . Yeah, I am simply trying to keep things in their proper perspective, if you will.

I agree with you that there is no need to bash a product of equal, if not better worth. Furthermore, I will also agree with you that it is unneccessary to speak ill of a product if one is not familiar with it. However, that does happen on occassion . . . What are you gonna do?
