Marchesanos engine cover!

Adam decided to have us polish his timing chain cover while it was off for the rebuild..It came out like CHROME!!Anyone who would want this done, if you send us a complete cover the cost is $425, it is VERY time consuming and is done by hand..

man i opened this thread thinking you were talking about Adam's "hood within a hood" engine cover again

that looks sweet... might have to do that in the future to match my polished plenum. you can't run the VQ without the timing cover right? any chance on a core exchange program? lol

Can you remove that without pulling the motor? Also, is it failry easy to remove...anything special that one would need to know before removing?

yes, you can remove it without pulling the motor.

you'll have to pull the water pump (?) and all the belts off as well as the entire oil pan since their are two bolts inside that keep the timing cover on.

I dont believe the water pump needs to come off..The lower oil pan does..It is a bit time consuming.
