Which MD plenum is best for 04' 6MT

Hey guys, i was looking into Motordyne's plenum for my 04 6mt. i noticed that there were different kinds so i was wondering which one is the best "bang for the buck" so to speak.

thanks.

I got the 3/8" plenum spacer for my 2004 6mt during the very first spacer group buy a long time ago. (I think the 3/8" has been discontinued? Your choices are now 1/8, 5/16, and 1/2, I think?)
The bigger the spacer, the more gains you will see, however, it is diminishing returns, i.e. they all give nice gains, but the gain difference between 5/16" spacer and 1/2" is minimal.
As I understand it, the biggest decision between those two spacers is if you want the OEM engine cover to fit. (I leave mine off)
You will feel a difference in TQ after installing the spacer - I feel it for sure between 3K - 4.5K RPMs.
Excellent bang for the buck, IMHO - great customer service/support, and HONEST marketing with scientific test results.
My $.02

I installed my 5/16" MD spacer on Saturday and I'm very please with it. I also like the fact that I can put my cover on when I go to the dealership.

5/16" with Iso Thermal would be the best. You can go with 1/2" if you don't mind having to take off your engine cover.

I get my oil changed at the dealer, and I've never had a problem. Not a word.

Alan: should us 04ers leave our stock lower plenum?

That is my understanding, yes. The 03/04 lower plenum does the 05/06 cars some good, but not the other way around.

Get the spacer. Besides the Sway Bars, the spacer is the best bang-for-the-buck mod, IMHO.
