engine air filter

engine air filter

Hello g35 folks. Anyone with instructions to change engine air filter? Removing 4 latches do not work. Any pics instruction would be helpful? Thanks

1) 10mm wrench to remove the bolt holding down the airbox
2) 10mm wrench to loosen hose clamp holding the rear maf tube to the mid pipe
3) Unclip the maf sensor connector (You might even be able to leave this on)

Carefully lift the maf/airbox assembly away. Replace air filter. Assembly is the reverse of the above.

1. undo the two clips on the piece coming from the tube (easiest way is with a pocket screwdriver)

2. undo the 10mm bolt holding the box down

3. undo the 4 clips

4. yank up on the box pull filter out, install new filter

5. assemble in reverse order

i do this 2-3 times each day takes no more than 2 minutes =)
