Question MREV... Just stock 03-04 Lower plenum?

I was searching around... Im interested in the MREV mod for my 05, and Im getting the feeling, aside from the "plus" modifications, the Mrev is nothing more than the lower plenum off the non revup motor with the 5/16 ISO spacer? Im just wondering cause my pops runs the service and parts department at an Infiniti dealer here in MD, and I could probably get the Lower plenum for an 04 pretty cheap.. and then just order the 5/16 spacer from motordyne? Just a thought... By the way.. great forum... had my 05 6MT in DG for about 6 months now... just got a Borla TD and Stillin CAI with Z tube and love it! Which says alot, I was a die hard ford guy for about 9 years, with a 505 Rwhp SC'ed 95 Cobra to prove it... now it sits as the "hoopdie" while I drive the Gee on non rainy days! Hi to all...

You could look at machining down the top of the runner like Motordyne does for a little bit of extra gain.

How much do you think you can get the lower plenum for? I read there was an increase of some sort. I imagine Tony gets them at a bit of a discount for buying in quantity as well.

well at infiniti parts usa I saw the lower plenum for $222... I imagine I could get it cheaper than that, thinking in the 150-175 range... plus 230 for the spacer, I guess id save between 75 100 bucks? I dunno just a thought... look into buying seperatly...might save alittle cash!
