Hyper Voltage System, is it worth it?
Hyper Voltage System, is it worth it?
Has anyone installed sun's hyper voltage system(aka electrical battery stabilizer) on the G?
Anyone has given up thier $185 just to increase another "HP & torque, better throttle response & fuel mileage, and efficiency of electrical equipment" on this little box with two wires? Our G's ecu takes care of these right? ...just a hunch.
...there are 3 types of kits; HR, LR, & MR. Thanks

Sorry 808HerbzG35,
Do not know anything nor have heard anything about such a product.
What is it, what does it claim to do? Ya de ya de ya?

I got a flyer about it from Street Car Show Off show.

haha, looks like a gimic! just get a regular HG kit, will do the same thing.

Re: Hyper Voltage System, is it worth it?
Ya, i have it installed. I also installed it on surewin's car as well. We both got the hyperground wires with the voltage system from Sun Automobile. Both of us have not had a chance to get a dyno run yet though but based on everything we felt.... quicker response on the throttle, and smoother shifting (we both have auto's). I havent noticed any increase of gas mileage since i have a heavy foot. Maybe surewin can shed some of his inputs on this as well.

That sounds like what all of us with the Hyper-ground kit say
about Hyper-grounding. How much did it cost?

Hmmmm. I wonder how it works? Does anyone know the theory? I was a skeptic about Hyper-Ground wires before too, but obviously, no longer. I'd love to hear feedback about how this mod works in comparison to just H-G wires. The price is comparable to the original NISMO H-G kit that got this whole thing started for me.

Re: Hyper Voltage System, is it worth it?
well, apparently it was told to me that power spikes are part of the car everytime you turn on the AC, headlights, etc. this voltage system suppose to clean the power up or something. Similar to those $1000 Monster Cable power filters for your home & audio equipment or somewhere along those lines. I just got it to complete the Sun Automobile setup but it also has this cool blinking light. haha =)
Re: Hyper Voltage System, is it worth it?
I did feel more of a quicker responce, and much better shifting....but that is with both the Hyper Voltage System, and Hyper Ground Wires. Sorry, but when gopedg5 installed the Hyper Voltage System, he installed the Hyper Ground wires as well. So both were installed on the same day.
Gopedg5 had his hyper wires on first, and drove a couple of months with it on. He then installed the HVS system just recently. So his testimony would be better than mine.

Re: Hyper Voltage System, is it worth it?
I would imagine that it acts somewhat like a power supply conditioner or something then, ensuring a constant and clean voltage feed to all electrical components, without the usual spikes, etc. Any EEs out there care to comment?

Re: Hyper Voltage System, is it worth it?
gopedg5, surewin; I like the MR-Multi-range rev package. How does the LED works? Is it red for irregular/discontinuous voltage operation? and green for constant voltage operation? Any pics in the G35 battery housing? Thankz
Re: Hyper Voltage System, is it worth it?
hey 808. Ya, surewin and i have the MR as well. i guess that's the top model they have. the red and green blinking lights are just a notification that you are operational and its not defective or no issues. i dont have pics of it in the battery compartment. but surewin and i both have it in the same location...since i installed his. i wish i can put it in the bay so it can be seen but no place to put it at.
