Plenum spacer on 05/06

I thought I read somewhere that the spacer was unnecessary on the 05/06 cars. Anybody know about this?

it's unnecessary for the 05-06 6MT. The only plenum mod proven to show gains on the 05+ 6MT's is the MREV. I have an 05 5AT and i love my Motordyne ISO spacer.

i have mrev+ on my 05 6mt sedan and it definitely pulls smoother and with less effort when freeway cruising.... i keeping ending up going between 85-90 mph without even knowing it... it's so hard to stay at 70-75mph now....

i've even managed to get the vdc slip light to come on 1st thru 3rd gears a couple of times already post mrev+ mod...

You do realize that one half of the MREV (or MREV+) mod is a plenum spacer?

yes i do realize that, but without the pre rev-up lower plenum (other half of the mrev), the spacer alone does absolutely nothing for the rev-up motor.
