Pulley

Pulley
Does anyone Mod their Pulleys?
I think there are 4 pulleys in G35.
the Ultra SS 3-Piece Pulley Set( on normally aspirated engines and 10 to 18 HP and 10 to 20 lbs.-ft. ) , and the Unorthodox Ultra S Street Crank Pulley(on normally aspirated engines and 8 to 16 HP and 8 to 18 lbs.-ft. ). So there are 4 pulleys.
Do they really work?
That is a lot of improvement~according to the Ad

Yes, they do work... I went with a 3 pulley set up and I did notice a pick up of more TQ... HP gain is harder to feel on any mod (Butt dynos are better on detecting TQ)
I replaced the main crank and the water pump... I have the alternator pulley in my trunk... debating on trying that one again... What a PITA trying to get that alternator pulley off that SOB!!
I think the biggest gains are to be made with the main crank and water anyway... You save on weight which translates on less rotational mass to move which increases TQ and HP over the RPM band. A very good $ to power gain IMO...
be ready to cut up your hands puting these on though and remember how the belts go... LMAO I almost put the main belt on wrong and I woud have if I didn't have another "G" sitting there to look at...
Hope this helps ya out a bit... Oh, Don't go UR, just go with the lightweight... I have heard of people having problems with the UR...
Good luck..
