Hey guys... quick ?. I live in Los Angeles so cold weather is not an issue here although is has been a little chilly by our standards the last mornings (45 F). When I turned on my car today after being parked in the driveway for two days, I noticed that the engine stuttered from a quick second before turning on. Is this normal since it was off for two days? I only have 700 miles on the car.

And I've noticed it other times as well when I've not moved it for two days or more. Thanks in advance for your replies.

 

i notice that as well. only happens when i let it sit for a whole day.

i also live in L.A. my G has 8K miles...

I live in Canada, it's not normal, but it's something the dealer in Canada can't fix. If you left ur car sit there for 4+ hour no matter how long you drove before, the sound will pop out...
I have been searching in this forum about that issue before, if I didn't forget, it has to do with the clutch oil or line what so ever...not too sure...
Anyways, Congratz on ur *NEW* 700 miles G !!!

 

Thanks guys for the replies... let me thread jack my own thread here and ask this: do you guys ever hear a slight rattle noise when you've slowed down enough to downshift to 2nd gear and you accelerate back up? At first I thought it was due to the RPM's being too low for the current speed, but I've noticed that when it does rattle and I'm in 2nd, I'm only at like 15 MPH so the RPM's are not an issue. And again, it's a very light rattle and only a few times.... any insight on this? Thanks!
