FS[West]: Osiris Tuner Cable

Osiris Tuner Cable
Selling a couple of mods, and my next one for sale is my Osiris Tuner cable. It's in great shape, the newer (red) version, and has the license returned to the cable (unmarried).
As opposed to the cheaper Standard cable ($500), the Tuner cable ($700) gives you access to the ROM editor which allows you to edit your own tunes. You can download all the software for free from Uprev's site. If you don't want to tune yourself you can also purchase an e-tune from any of the reputable tuners on the forum!
Asking $450 Shipped!

Has the cable been unmarried from your ECU?
Based on what the UPREV website says here:
https://uprev.com/faq.php#how_many_vehicles
they charge $300 (and an additional $100 for a base tune to use for a new car) to free up the cable to be used on a new ECU. That would bring the total cost up to $900 instead of the $700 to just buy it new?
I'm sure there's an easier explanation.. but DRM man - god it sucks!

The picture shows "Osiris standard: license on cable" in green, that means that it was successfully unmarried from the previous vehicle and is ready to be used on ANY supported vehicle. All you need is the corresponding rom file for your ECU, and you can get that from any Uprev protuner or you can even download it with the rom editor software.

The software is a free download but is encrypted so you cannot access it without the cable physically plugged into your computer

You won't have to spend $300 or anything to use this on a new car. The cable is unmarried and is ready to be used on another car. Since this is the tuner cable, you can download the ROM from uprev for free and start tuning at your leisure. You also have the option of buying an e-tune from one of our reputable tuners for around $50.
So no, this wouldn't end up costing you $900. It would cost you the price of buying the cable from me, and that's it. Hope that helps.
