Empty your mind, be formless, shapeless — like water. Now you put water in a cup, it becomes the cup; You put water into a bottle it becomes the bottle; You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend. ― Bruce Lee

It has been shown to improve flow characteristics over the DE and a small bump in power (it's not a supercharger)

I used to have a 350z hr y pipe on my de z and I definitely felt a bump in power. It also seems to make the autos shift smoother from what I can tell and I have heard others report the same results. IMO anything is better than the oem de y pipe.
