Exclamation Mass Flow Air Sensor

Hi All,
I'm wondering if someone can help me. I was changed the spark plugs and started the car without plugging in the Mass Flow Air Sensor. I couldn't understand why the engine would not rev up pass a certain RPM.
I plugged the wire back in and it seems to work for a minute, but then fails again.
Does anyone experienced this have any advice, other than replacing the sensor?
Thank you.

You need to disconnect the battery, and let the car sit for about 15 minutes. Then connect the battery and everything should be fine. If it is throwing a code, clear the code before disconnecting the battery.
