The oem steel pulley is sturdy and is removed with a puller. What is the recommended way to remove these aluminum ones if needed? And how do you install the pulley onto the alternator? Does a shop have to do this?
Our guys over here just put WD40 or penetrating oil and use that with the puller to take those out. You have to be careful when pulling though. They have also just yanked them out before and they have come out with not much resistance.
