Skunk2 Plenum Spacer $179 Shipped - 8 in stock!!

We are having a sale on all Skunk2 Plenum Spacer's for the month. These make about 10 horsepower and are such a great bolt on part for the VQ35 Engine that its insane not to have one.

Price seems a tad higher than normal, but that is due to the recent Price Increase at Skunk2.

MFG Info - This Nissan/Infiniti intake manifold plenum spacer is dyno proven and road tested to outperform all other manifold plenum spacers currently being sold. The Skunk2 spacer effectively increases plenum volume, lowers intake air temperatures, and allows front cylinders to breath more efficiently resulting in gains of up to 10+ hp to the wheels, and increased throttle response, and over 2MPG increase in fuel efficiency. Unlike other spacers on the market, Skunk2 spacers are made from a special aerospace thermo-polymer composite that offers superior thermal insulation characteristics over aluminum spacers with aramid or other types of heat insulating gaskets. No fancy names or stages to describe or sell our spacer, just the simple fact that Skunk2 spacers keep the plenum cooler than the competition. Skunk2’s spacer is easy to install and includes all necessary hardware; including the hardware needed to bypass the water lines that heat the throttle body.

How does this compare to the MD spacer?

It's a good product. Had it on my other (black) coupe for a long time. Only sold it because I got rid of the car.

Thanks for the info...what made you decide on the skunk2 vice the MD?
Did it come with all the gaskets or did you have to use RTV?

The materials that the Skunk2 is made from is originally what made me go with it.

Keep in mind I am not saying the Skunk2 is better than the MD. I feel they are pretty equal, honestly.

When I got my second (current) coupe, I decided to try out MD and I am happy with it as well.

And no, the Skunk2 did not come with gaskets. I bought mine 2 years ago, maybe they do now.

Would you recommend one over the other taking into account materials, installation, etc?

I would not recommend one over the other. Either will be good. MD is by far the more popular choice on these forums but so are TEIN suspensions, which are complete trash in my opinion, so careful not to get sucked into mob mentality. But, having said that, MD makes stellar products.

So, either way, you'll be alright.

Does it come with a gasket? If not that's an incomplete product IMO.

I agree and wish someone would answer my question about the Skunk2 coming with the gaskets..that is the only thing stopping me from buying this.

It has one rubber gasket around the edge of the product and that is it.
