March 15th sounds good. I am doing the finishing touches for my twin turbo build, so my car should be ready by then.

 

dang i wont be able to make this one either... ill be in mexico for spring break...

 

I think I'm open anytime in March right now ... but that will probably change.

 

How would a Kennedale meet sound? We could run our cars in the 1/8.

 

We've tried to do meets at Ennis for the 1/4 mile but it never seems to bring a big crowd. Not sure if Kennedale would be any different, although I'm sure there would be a lot of whining from the NorthEast Dallasites

I went to Grapevine Municipal Golf Course today on a company outing and drove by/over the Grapevine Lake... looked like a real nice place for a meetup.

Since I'm new around here, don't know how much my vote will really count, but I vote for Grapevine Lake.

 

I think everyone is pretty much good with Grapevine Lake. The spot we were at last time was really nice with 2 big grills and a covered seating area with picnic tables. It was in the Oak Grove Park area. Here is a Google Maps link which I am pretty sure is the exact area we were at last time ... parking lot had a little grassy area in the middle and the covered pavilion off to the right. I don't know if the street names are correct though:
