A piece of ABS plastic like that ran aobut $10 back in the day.

Looks good. I cant wait to do mine.

Did he bypass the bose amp and run everything off the headunit?
thanks J
i have no idea
but right now it seems like after Chuck at bestbuy installed my headunit, my oem subs dont work?..and when i crank the volume up to 62 which is the highest, the sound coming from the speakers is clear but not to loud.. is this normal?

color me a tard, but I don't remember having any OEM subs? The 6x9's were putting out decent bass for some speakers, but I don't think that we have any OEM subs.....

all good...they sound pretty good for 6x9's but I am pretty sure we gots no OEM subs....the 04 Maxima's had "open air" subs in the back deck, but...
Are the 6x9's putting out any sound? They should sound almost the same unless for some reason they bypassed the bose amp and they aren't getting as much power any more...I would listen to see if they are even putting out any sound or call best buy up and ask...

im 100% sure that the 6x9 speakers in the rear deck doesnt work at all.

ill let you hear it when i see you this friday.
like i put the volume all the way up and its not as loud
as when i had my oem headunit installed.

yea, the 6x9's being the largest speakers in there would be putting out the most sound, so if they aren't working, that would be a problem... I completely pulled all my bose stuff out, but I would check with best buy and tell them ur problem and ask them why only some of ur speakers are working. I could be missing something, but I don't see why only the door speakers are working unless they hooked it up to run them off the head unit and then completely aren't using the bose amp to power the others, which would be dumb....can't hurt to call the installer u used and ask him what is up....I just took all mine out so I didn't have to worry about whether the bose amp will work with a aftermarket unit, but I don't see why there wouldn't be some way to get that done, and if so, I think that they didn't hook things back up right.... go into the menu on ur pioneer unit and change the fade/balance to put all the sound in the rear and on the left then right sides and listen for what is and is not putting out sound...

They 06 and newer coupes had subs and also the sedans did to. The 37s have subs in the doors. Brian there are a few pac audio units I think you need to make the stock bose unit work and the steering wheel controls.
