you can get that stuff at Radio Shack (now going to be called The Shack). I think the "wire" jeremy is talking about is actually Solder (it looks like wire but it's not). before you buy do the research into soldering because not all solder is made equal.

i have an iron and some solder one but i don't know where it is right now and the iron i have is kinda puny (meant for soldering electronics on a circuit board) don't know if you need a beefier one or just a beefier tip for heavier guage speaker wire...

Sedan, I'm planning on taking off the "I N F I N I T I" and "G35S"..I did some amateur photoshopping and I think I just like the emblem on the back. So no heat gun or hair dryer?

 

i didnt use no hairdryer or anything to take of my emblems i just poored some goo gone behind the emblems then got my dental floss and took them off..it did leave a shadow for a few months but goes away after you wash/wax your G

 

I used a hair dryer, but either method works....

 

Well my brake kit should be here tomorrow = good news.

Brake kit will not fit my car with my OEM 17" rims = bad news. All my fault I guess since I am a newbie:P

I plan on ordering some 19's soon but did not realize until today that I would need at least 18's to install the brakes.

I don't suppose that anyone has some 18's or 19's non-staggered wheels(gotta love the x) that they would rent to me for a few weeks? If so, shoot me a pm.

 

just buy some wheel spacers for the time being to clear the G37 BBK and then get 18's or 19's..just a thought

 

What size spacers do you think I will need and where can I buy them?

id say 5mm or 10mm.. not to sure..but just to have enough clearance id say go with 10mm..


just search wheel spacers and you'll find many threads

 

ive got a staggered set of 19s for sale that came off my 06 sedan. I think people are running staggered wheels on x's. Not completley sure only thing is that the tires will be coming off the back ones next week when my new shoes arrive for the 37. And if need be i have a heat gun. Bring Goo Gone I dont have any of that though.

 

Thats fine! I was just talking to him about that. He is most likely going to drive my Silverado over with them in the bed. i would bring something to wrap them in or at least a blanket so they dont mark your interior!
