9/19/09 - Sept. 2009 DFW G/Z Owners Meet - FORT WORTH!

I typically cook up about 8-10 racks of ribs for my birthday...which feeds about 40 ppl. Costs me about $120. Regular beef ribs aren't that expensive...but baby backs are typically $4/lb.

Sam's usually has decent deals on baby back ribs, and they are decent. I also have a friend that owns a meat processing company (Patterson), and he hooked me up with a case of 12 for a good deal. I can check with him if you think you need that many. I don't want to bother him unless it is for a full case, although I would be willing to take 1-3 for myself (I am known to smoke some pretty good ribs from time to time).... His ribs are good quality, probably slightly better than Sam's any way.

Sure would be nice to see that many though. 22 ppl signed up just to eat Pho in Garland. I'd think the same showing for Ribs and/or Fajitas is reasonable.
Where's all the people that told me to just plan it? What about the ones that said I should be willing to drive my car wherever since that's what having a car is for?
Hopefully as long as the weather is great, it will be a nice time no matter how many show up.
