I'm not saying Will isn't correct here but I don't think they are going to really close anyone out of the gate, the original Saturday roll-in time was 11:00am which is still on their website currently. However there's no reason to take any chances!

We will be meeting at 8:30am at the below mentioned parking location and then rolling out to TMS as a group! Hopefully everyone scheduled to show will show up before 9:00am and then we can roll out as soon as we are all assembled.

As a reminder, here is where we will meet (Google Maps link) at the Grapevine Mills mall parking lot directly behind the Golden Corral restaurant.


I have everyone's cell # except hound138, atmalone, TheDizzle, Platelock, and e-ban so as long as they are on time or someone else has their number we can check on everyone's status.

 

Man I was out there today at the event and they were drifting on the wet track.. Those dudes are AMAZING MAN.. I got some great shots that I'll be posting up shortly.. Today was qualification and practice... I met all the drivers, and got do a mini shoot w/ Nate Hamilton's cars (his racing 240 and the purple one that was his friend's that was killed..)

I got there too late to see him practice though.. But got to see a LOT of other cars.. Yeah there were some almost wrecks.. This red Mustang almost took out himself and 2 other cars...

TRUST ME... You want to be at this grand event.. I can't explain how grandiose it is to be down in the pit area of Texas Motorspeedway and looking up at those large stands, and seeing that banked track all around you..

The area for the car show is great and the drifting is just a short walk across the walkway.. It's amazing guys.. I'm getting goosebumps just thinking about what I saw today..

I got my cleaning supplies packed up! my boots tied tight! I hope I don't get in a wreck! off to XDC drift! XDC drift! (billy madison rhyme) lol!

 

man have fun guys. i'm sure it'll be a blast. i really cant make it, promised the girl the state fair today and now we cancelled that as well. cant justify spending 40 bucks to stand in the rain and look at cars racing and stuff to her.

As much as I want to be there, even in the rain, I might not be able to make it. My brother just called with a stranded vehicle up near McKinney. If I can get him back on the road in time to get in a few good hours at XDC I'll be there.

 

EZ - the weather helped us decide too. We all decided to not be little biatches!!!

 

what do you guys not understand about NOT being able to drive in the rain? I dont have my undercarriage stuff on, my filters really low right now.... i have been getting other stuff done and not got that taken care of.
