Good job, DFW G's. By the looks of the pictures, it looks like you all had a great time and definitely represented the G crowd well up there.
Congratulations to those who took home awards.
I am sorry you all didn't win best forum, because again, looking at the pictures it looks like you all had NO COMPETITION at all when it came to exclusive crews.
Maybe us Houston guys will see you at CCM 8, in Houston. I would love to meet some of you guys, like Chris Black and Tony.

No way, that Mustang was insanely legit. Everyone who has never seen him before kind of laughed when they saw him sitting at the starting point, but I didn't hear a single person talk sht once he made a pass.
It was definitely a little humbling to have all of those imports lose to the one solitary domestic though haha. However, from what I heard...Nate got all the love after the show!

Tony, what is the ETA on your new wheels?
And yea, CCM 8 is on the 23rd. Technically, it isn't in Houston since La Marque, Texas is closer to Galveston.

ETA is unknown bro.. I asked Wayne (leader of 16Niss and reseller of Venaci wheels, I can sell them to now by the way) when they were coming in, he said he called and asked, and they said they haven't even SHIPPED yet.. I thought all this time, they were just trying to get through customs..

I have no idea when they're coming now.. Hopefully I get them before the end of the year so I can WRECK in 2011..

Hey guys check this out... Just thought it was interesting to learn about all the intangibles and side stories of the race yesterday.. I met a LOT of drivers this weekend, and befriended a lot of them on facebook.. One of them, Fielding Shredder -(the yellow 240), was explaining how he didn't get to practice because he was kicked out.. Here's his facebook status..
Here's Fielding's car as captured by "THE Dave Stevens" (I LOVE THIS PIC, this is hang up/magazine coverage/portfolio material right here bro.... it gets no better, timing, action, sharpness, color reproduction EVERYTHING IS PERFECT)
i'll tag him in your album on facebook and I'm SURE he'll see it.. Congrats on an amazing capture.
That's crazy huh? Dude had to get his car working and then perform on a less than ideal surface w/ no practice and cold tires.. These dudes are amazing.. I'm HOOKED man..

XDC was AWESOME! I had such a good time driving on a nice track, with great drivers, and supportive friends! Ended up finishing in Top 8! Wish i had done better but I had such a good time and with zero practice laps plus the rain i'm pretty proud of how I finished! Thanks to everyone who showed up and supported, especially BH Factory!
Blew my MAF on friday so got had to spend all day fixing that, Showed up at 8am saturday, finished fixing my car and went out for practice ON TIME at 10am, waited till 10:15 when a TMS track official drove up to me, gave me a head nod, and ...parked his 'fire truck' next to the track to watch me. I did 2 few cold laps, then drifted one lap, and XDC official came and flipped out on me, and kicked me out of practice for the day. Really sucked, because i figured since TMS guy was watching me it was okay, but I see my mistake and had to pay the consequences. Had to qualify on non-scrubbed cold tires with no practice in the rain.
