The event will be at TEXAS MOTOR SPEEDWAY (BUS LOT). SO there are NO TREES, NO POLES! great for the first timer!

impressive for your 3rd time too...i REALLY need to get out to the next one, i have been dying to get out there. how was your time?

350z = 1

I know its all about the driver but that made me feel awesome.. Gword killed my time so I need more seat time for sure. Its great to ask questions and everyone is really helpful. Best run 62.4 and the Z06 had 63.. Jason Z-ya got a 60 and I think Gword was in the upper 50s like 58 or something.

The video thing - well I just needed a firewire cable BUT I didnt have any firewire connections on ANY of my PC's or laptops..UNTIL my girl got her a new laptop and there is was - A FIREWIRE CONNECTION...From there it was game over..

You should totally check it out sometime - auto-x or drift.. ride alongs is the hook, line, sinker...so be careful.. hehehe...

My 100hp Miata was 61.7... so ya the driver plays a bit into it

Hot day for sure! The turbo z (white, no bumper) didn't know what hit him when the turbo kicked in

 

AWESOME! didnt know we had another fellow member out there! Man Im hooked.. 61.7 - thats kick a$$. I need more seat time.!

What miata was yours? Color? you got suspension?


Next time Im going to have to get pics BEFORE all the event starts..

 

I used to have the red Evo X that would autocross (I think you've been out there a couple times). Now I'm in the white miata (not the one with the blue stripe).



Slower for sure, but WAY cheaper to maintain.

 

Thats key - very cool.. I used to make of small rides.. but after auto-x I have a whole new respect for them.. all of em..
