I didn't see this post up. I'll be there with my MREV and spacer. I'm hoping that stock intake gaskets will work as replacements for the motordyne ones. Oh, and can bring some brats since BeerViper can't make it.

For example. If your about to do a quarter mile (race from zero). While your car is at idle, the temperature of the air in the intake is very important! Basically i predict that NO intake will stay cooler at idle than the stock airbox, but thats just my guess.

Intake temperature at idle is an extremely important factor! The hotter the temperature at idle, the more HP you loose off the line for about 5 (critical) seconds. Also, when the temperature is cooler at idle, in theory, you get better throttle response.

If we can do these tests it would be ideal to do them with the hood closed for realism.

Id strongly encourage some sort of temperature testings!

the dyno is only scheduled for my car, I don't know if he can get you in. I can remove and reinstall your samco tube if you want it tested.

I'm keeping my car on the dyno and trying to keep all variables the same, to isolate the various intake setups.

also, duelperformance, I'll need you to be there within the first hour (12-1) because the way I have it planned is I'll be replacing the lower plenums first, then the spacers, then the intake tubes, then the intakes...

which ever piece makes the most power will stay on for the later testing, if that makes sense.

No problem bro. I ended up getting Saturday off all together from work, so I'll actually probably be there before 12.
