Nobody can say for sure but I guess it will be a little quicker than the current FX35. I'd bet that it will have the VQ35DE rev-up or VQ35HR which both make 300+ HP.

I really don't see that.
JMO, but with the target market, it'll more likely get the Altima version.

It will be riding on the revised FM platform. Why would Infiniti put anything other than a VQ from the new FM platform?

...and will be lighter than the current FX35. That should be fun.

I believe infiniti said they are using the same motor that went into the 2005-06 models making 293 hp. Im almost certain I read that.

The brochure that I got from the infiniti dealership says 290+hp VQ engine, all wheel drive, adaptive shift control which learns an individual's driving style to enhance overall driving dynamics (whatever that means)

I'm thinking VQHR will power the car just like the 07 g35 sedan. The 3.7 motor will probably only stay in the coupe/convertible for awhile...

I think infiniti will make the EX perform better than both RDX and X3

sorry guys, i don't really want to pay for this article, but here's what I found in regards to engine:

http://subscribers.wardsauto.com/ar/...niti_ex35_due/

either way, sounds like a fun car. My wife likes it, so I think she'll go this route instead of the FX.

EDIT: here's another article I was able to find:
