I read on another EX35 forum that only way you get xenon headlights is to get the luxe package which includes the 18" wheels. Does that mean the ones without that package get halogen headlights?

- Xenon auto-leveling front headlights with Adaptive Front lighting System (AFS)

This is what optional.

I'm assuming that standard Xenon lights come standard. I don't think Infiniti would release vehicle in 2008 that did not have Xenon when all of the previous vehicles by Infiniti do have it.

Ka-wrong. I didn't think Infiniti would be cheap enough to do it either but they sure fooled me. Xenons are available with either the Luxe Style or Luxe Elite packages. Cars not equipped with the LS or LE packages come with halogen low and high beams. And if you do splurge for either the LS or LE package, the auto leveling and AFS equipped xenons are low beam only. The high beams are still halogen units just like the M. Cheap much? How is it that the G Sedan, G Coupe and FX get standard bi-xenons but the M, EX and QX only get xenon low beams with halogen high beams, not to mention xenons are an extra cost option on the EX and the M35x?

Wow that sux, doesn't make sense this car is a luxury crossover but halogen headlights??

No wonder I couldn't find headlights info under "standard features". Guess they are too embarassed to put "yucky yellow halogen headlights" in there.

Still like the car though but what was nissan thinking?

I sure as hell dont know what Nissan was thinking. Bi-Xenons should be standard on all Infiniti vehicles by now...We are in 2008.

I can confirm that the headlights are not very bright. We were wondering why they were so dim.

Don't tell me your parents bought the car without knowing whether or not it had HIDs?

Do you have the 18" rims? If not, then you probably have the halogen lights.

I don't think they cared one way or the other. We love in the NYC area, which has tons and tons of street lights.

Xenons are not standard on the M models. You need to get the Technology Package in order to get xenons.

Now they are doing this with the EX.

So Ghey....All the cars should have xenons. Even the 3 series coupes come with xenons standard now. You know hell has frozen over when BMW has started to give standard equipment like xenons on their car and Infiniti doesn't on the M and the EX.

I may be wrong but I don't think most luxury companies have standard xenon's across the board. I know Audi, MB, Lexus, and BMW don't. Acura might but I'm not sure.

As of 2008, with the discontinuation of the RSX, Acura is the only company that has Xenons standard on every vehicle. Lexus, BMW, MB do not. I guess Infiniti is trying to follow suit? LOL
