New EX Owner Saying Hi!
Well more like an EX buyer. It is for my wife, got it on Friday. Got an AWD Journey Blue Slate with Black Interior, Fully Loaded, except the Tech & Luxe Packages. Absolutely beautiful.
Not new to the forums. I had an 07 G35 6MT for a year. Not new to Nissan/Infiniti either, this is our 9th nissan/infiniti in 6 years.
So a couple of questions for owners:
- Cold air intakes: For a VQ35HR engine it is very tame, other than drop-in k&N air filters, does anyone have an Injen or Stillen CAI installed. Does it require cutting plastic like in the G35 Sedan? Do G35 Sedan after market parts fit?
- Exhaust: Not looking for anything too aggressive, living it legal, but I got underneath and noticed the garden hose size pipe...any recommendations?
- Hitch: Need to mount a 1.5 or 2" hitch to the back, not for towing, but rather for attaching a bike stand, thinking total no more than 100lb. need it to mount to the frame and the supports.
- Car Seat: Recommendation for front facing car seats that fit nicely in the EX and look good too.
- Any other recommended mods?

Congrats to you and your wife!
I bought one for my wife back in September. A very nice car! Has a lot more gadgets compared to my old G35. Wife loves it so that's a plus!
Either way, I wouldn't know much about mods for the EX since I plan on leaving it stock since well it's for the wife anyway lol
