can anyone tell me where i can get the cheapest HKS dual tip highflow exhaut. the cheapest i've got was $1400.00 shipped. does enyone know where i can get it cheaper?

Dont get HKS. Its over-rated! Go with Fast Intentions Intimidator. Its cheaper and its, IMO, a better system. HKS is too high-pitched and raspy for me. The Intimidator system has no rasp at all and is a nice deep growl. Plus, how many exhaust manfacturers allow you to talk directly the the man who built the system you bought?

fast intentions and hks dont even compare in terms of looks and sound. if hes looking for hks, then he probably wants something loud and something that looks aggressive (with the muffler setup and the torched tips that is). depending on which intimidator system he would get, which i assume would be stainless steel, the intimidator exhaust is more expensive than the hks system (if you don't consider the holody sale price that FI is giving right now). hks doesnt rasp either. hks has way too many customers to let customers talk to the people who designed the product. i'm not bagging on fast intentions or anything, but if they ever get as big as hks then it will be very difficult for tony to talk to every single customer of his.

again, im not bagging on fast intentions...but these two systems dont compare. i could understand if someone suggested injen because it too is loud and looks similar to hks (but imo, injen looks way worse because the tips are way too far from the mufflers). but fast intentions is theopposite of hks. its subtle looking with small oem like tips (i dont know what its called when the tips are rolled...rolled tips?) and its quiet (compared to hks, injen, rsr, etc).

fast intentions exhaust seems to be considered along with stillen, nismo, fuji, etc (other ones that arent so aggressive looking and quieter).

there is rarely ever a used hks system there. i got lucky

but keep your eyes open

 

if you want cheap then go for used.

 

Check Wheelautohaus. They have decent prices and are very customer friendly.

that guy doesn't even sell the HKS system anymore. there is only the apex one on his site.

 

Fast Intentions is not cheaper it's more expensive for a one of their systems comparable to the HKS system. Screw you FI people and your stupid rhetoric

intense is great. but hks is listed as 1525 shipped. don't know if theyre willing to match 1250...thats a big jump/loss
