Exhaust gets delivered tomorrow! So hopefully no rain, and it will be on Saturday. Pics and Sound clips will be up by Saturday night/Sunday Morning!

Finally put the exhaust on today! I really like the sound, and think it looks great as well. Overall installation wasn't that bad. I'll post some pics up and I'm not sure how to get the videos up..so if someone could please let me know thanks.

ARK - Have you guys thought about actually making a separate version for the G35 like HKS does? Your method was the most convenient, but as a result the tips are too short and they tuck in way too much. This is true for all 350z exhausts that use extension pipes to fit the G35. Nismo and x02 are two examples that use this method and have the same problem. Your exhaust looks and sounds awesome at a great price, but people shouldn't have to live with tucked tips or go to a muffler shop and have the tips cut off, extended, and welded back on for the price they pay to begin with.

+1 on what Calvin said above. I was really considering this exhaust until I saw how tucked it is. Hope you resolve this but until then I think I am going to pass.

We're developing different setting from G37 separate version from 370Z exhuast system. But G35, we're going to product slip cover for it..

Thanks

Thats a personal opinion from my experience it is rite. Its positioned just enough 1 inch from interior wall and 1 half inch from bottom curve off bumper and 1 inch spacing between the two just enough so it lets all the gases and heat flow.

your probably one of those guys that likes the tips sticking out on a lowered car so when you back in you can hit is and damage it on a parking strip.

Also not if tip is too long it will make rattle tone at mid range RPMs

FYI your average muffler shop cant weld on this metal!!!!QUOTE
but people shouldn't have to live with tucked tips or go to a muffler shop and have the tips cut off, extended, and welded back on for the price they pay to begin with.

NO Affiliation with ARK what so ever I just cant stand AdminsKnowITAll,,,,,that could be my next User name hahahaha

We wanted to give an alternative to the more expensive exhausts on the market w/o having to give up the quality of the exhaust. Making a separate exhaust from the 350Z w/o using extension pipes would have made us need to design a completely new exhaust system. This was not done out of "convenience" but more to cut down costs for our G35 customers. We do have real titanium tip slip ons available for this system for $120 for those who are interested.

Marco,

I think that pic they just posted shows the optional tip on a 350z..I belive the optional tips slide over the ones that come on the exhaust..they don't make the tips stick out any further so the tips would still be tucked in on G regardless of if you got the optional TI tips or not. Sucks! I was really interested in this system.
