ARK Performance Grip True Dual Exhaust!!!
All our Ark Exhausts are designed with a perforated core, and is the most drone reducing exhaust on the market. Our new batch Grip exaust with our popular X flow pipe will be arriving at the end of this month.
Have a couple questions...Does it fit a 06 G35 coupe with RAS or would I have to get that pipe that runs by the Diff. modified? Also, I have kinetix HFC, and if i installed this exhaust would there be any rasp because of the loss in back pressure caused by the x pipe? Do the TI tips fade and turn brown after a while like the Xo2 tips? Sorry for all questions, wanna make sure this is legit? Anyone on this forum been runnin this exhaust for a while? Hows it holdin up, still sound good? And finally best price you can give shipped to 29579 please

I've been running the GRiP for 2 months now, about 2000 miles. I wanted to give it sometime before I chimed in. I promised a video, and I'm still getting to that... but for now, I'll provide some feedback and responses to some questions I've seen...
1) Drone/sound (stock cats): My experience with exhaust drone can be described as an intense hum that vibrates the ear drums. The GRiP does NOT drone. It's loud at those specific RPMs, like 2500-2800, etc. In my car, it hums to almost a drone, but doesn't quite become a drone, if that makes sense. The exhuast note is deeper than the HKS and clone (X02). Much closer to factory note.
2) Build: Very nice quality. I matched up, side by side, an HKS. The piping is solid and thick, just like the HKS. IMO, the welding looks better then the HKS
From the cats all the way back to the mufflers, the GRiP is very good quality.
3) Tips: There needs some work here. The GRiP is made for the 350Z (as pictured), then ARK made extentions to fit the system to the G; one after each cat, then the tips. And like the X02, the GRiP tips are stainless steel with stainless steel "covers" aka "extenders" aka "finishers." Unlike the HKS that is titanium. As far as fading, not sure, it's only been 2000 miles. I'll be sure to update if something comes up. However, I might check ebay in a couple months for other tips options. Or I might take them to an exhaust shop and have new tips welded on (I'm not a huge fan of the blue tips).
4) Performance: I installed a "Z-Tube" right before I had the exhaust installed, so it's hard to say if the performance gain was from the intake or the exhaust, or the combination of the two. Not official numbers here, just the good ol' butt dyno. A little drop on the low end, but a nice pick up on the high end rpms.
Stay tuned for a "ride along" video clip

I have had this exhaust installed since May 09. I did however order the titanium tips from Ark, and installed them. I will try to post pics up later of how they look after a year. I'm in NJ, so they have been through winter and still look great imo. Hope that helped.
Thanks guys for the replies. The major concern i would have with the exhaust is if it will clear the RAS (Rear Active Steering)? Its located right behind the Diff. towards the back of the car. Cause ive heard and read only certain exhausts clear the RAS on the G35 and others had to modify the pipe thats passes by it on the passenger side. I even heard of someone cuttin the corner of the steel casin of the RAS to clear the pipe! lol (And im def. not doin that!) and i just wouldnt want to start modifing a new expensive exhaust that i just got you know?.. so ill just wait till Ark gets back to me, I hope it will work out... not in no rush either just startin my christmas list early
