hikkatadori trunk and hood fitment is the worst !
Don't buy it !!!
I would recommend an excellent company for your hoods and trunk. They are called Strafe Auto or now Concept Auto LMAO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If I had the cash I'd definitely go that route.

 

the strafe trunk has pretty good fitment. a few of my friends are running them. i can try to get some pix when i see em again.

 

are they just building it up with filler or is that some other material?

Here are the pix i promised! Inven front, impul sides, custom chargespeed rear, and molded trunk. I believe they weld some sheetmetal and then use filler to shape it.

The shop that painted, molded and installed everything customized it for me.

 

wow. I really like those vents. It's not too much like the strafespeed rear. It's just right. I might go to my shop and tell them to do something similar. What do you ask them?

Hows the fitment in those trunks?

 

I've heard nothing but bad things about hikkatadori. The fiberglass is super thin. Everyone hates Strafe but I've been told they're fitment is much better.

 

If you've been a member on the forum here for the past few months, you'd have to be crazy to order something from strafe/concept automotive

 

IMO you'd also be crazy to buy a hikkatadori trunk too...
