And Yes Paint makes a big difference and if you can manage to keep your front clean then congrats! But most people have the same problem with damaging the front as i did.

Please explain how your going to raise the bumper if its already too low to begin with? Dremel? But seriously its easier to drop the car more than raise it higher (coilovers, lip, different shocks). If you raise it higher then your stuck with wheel gap... everyone knows wheel gap is unsightly.
Simple answer: Don't go aftermarket. Like i stated 9/10 people WILL want something thats lower than OEM and alot of time 10/10 will want it. You are a very small minority that wants as much clearance as you do. I'm just saying the higher ground clearance most likely hurt more sale rather than gained sales. Not saying its NOT gonna sell but more would sell had it been the original length if not a bit lower. You're scrapin an oem from just dropped on springs, that tells me you are not a very careful driver and you most likely just romp through places with out a care int he world, otherwise there is no way you'd have a problem with your oem front. That's fact!! 4" of clearance is like heaven you should not be scraping anywhere, unless of course you're rock climbing in your G, LOL. The second you drop your car you need to realize you're not gonna be able to drive like you would had it been at OEM height.

Your opinion is just that. You can say 10/10 want to be lower blah blah blah... but you said you would have it lower to begin with and you would just raise it up. Explain how your going to raise it up without wheel gap? I was probably driving lowered cars when you was pushin your huffy so dont try to get cute. It about 4" clearance right now with the 20"s most people dont roll 20"s they ride 19's. that would drop you to 3" and suprise you scrape. I dont have time to drive 5mph everywhere cuz i want my car to sit on the ground... i did that when i was 20 and didnt realize... damn this ride sucks! As i said earlier i live in Westminster and work in Santa Ana if you have ever been here you would realize the roads suck there can be multiple streets being worked on at any given time. Why are you even on this thread? Bashing? I like it blah blah blah but it wont sell as well if they did this blah blah blah... Your not selling it cuz you didnt think to do it so now it seems your hating on it cuz you didnt do it. Why not just give props and stop bashing other vendors with your "Opinions"

I don't think Shane is trying to bash in anyway. I drive through Westminster and Santa Ana..more of westminster and to be quite frank, those streets are much better than some of the areas I drive and I know shane goes through that area as well sometimes..just recently they were doing some major construction and it was pothole haven.

Going through pothole heaven in downtown LA is the worst, especially when its packed and you cant leave much distance between you and the next car because someone will cut right in front of you. Having stretched tires with negative camber doesn't help much either. I personally ride with 20's 3" above the ground from the front bumper...Shane..i believe he probably is lower.

Doesn't matter how old you are, how young he is. It's his opinion, it's not going to change...he is right though, most people do want the lower look without having to drop the vehicle...potholes aren't too much of an issue anyway for a bumper, it's more for the wheels I'd say...i really don't think driving fast over a speed bump or dip is wise anyway as it is a strain on the suspension..that's a whole new topic...

I don't think Shane is hating on the bumper, he is just stating he thinks it should be lower, nothing wrong with that at all...i dont see any bashing to be honest.

Explain how your going to raise it up without wheel gap? Please quote me where i said that.....i said it should be lower, that if any one should have been raised it should have been the fiberglass version not the poly one since it can handle more abuse. I was probably driving lowered cars when you was pushin your huffy so dont try to get cute. Please dude dont start with that crap, im simply stating the fact of modding and how most people do it. It about 4" clearance right now with the 20"s most people dont roll 20"s they ride 19's. that would drop you to 3" and surprise you scrape. No, you will not be 1" lower, it doesn't work like that. Bigger wheel = smaller profile tire, smaller wheel = higher series tire, it all equals out +-1/4" I dont have time to drive 5mph everywhere cuz i want my car to sit on the ground... i did that when i was 20 and didnt realize... damn this ride sucks! You dont have to, i drive almost exactly the same as i would a stock G minus romping driveways/speedbumps/and just being more aware of my surroundings As i said earlier i live in Westminster and work in Santa Ana if you have ever been here you would realize the roads suck there can be multiple streets being worked on at any given time. Welcome to Southern Cali. homie lol Why are you even on this thread? Bashing?I'm not bashing what so ever. I gave an statement on why it should have been the other way around and some constructive criticism I like it blah blah blah but it wont sell as well if they did this blah blah blah... Your not selling it cuz you didnt think to do it so now it seems your hating on it cuz you didnt do it. Why not just give props and stop bashing other vendors with your "Opinions"Again i am far from bashing, should i ask you why you are nut huggin???? Just go crack open a beer and chill. Gave my personal insight, don't let it get to you,
Sigh, this wasn't suppose to become an argument.

I don't even know arch, from my understanding and from what i've seen from him so far he is a honest and reliable sponsor. He obviously takes pride in providing the best service possible, much like myself. If you really feel like going on please PM me as i don't want to continue in here. Thanks!!!

So I guess I wasn't crazy when I noticed this k2 is guna be higher than an OEM bumper. And the poly impuls are guna sit higher than the oem sideskirts also in order to match up. IMO an aggressive kit with high ground clearance is complete fail..even with 0 wheel gap. Plus I'm curious to see how it'll match up to aftermarket rear bumpers since everything is raised now. I'm a little disappointed since I was leaning heavily on this as my new bumper being poly and all. Oh well..good luck with your sales.
