The "orphaned reply" bug. It's not you, it's the computer.

It's a bug in the forum software. Delete your orphaned reply and post it again in the correct thead.. however.. do NOT reply to the same message you used the first time. The bug is in the message you replied to. Reply to a different message in the thread.. the first message usually works.

Once this bug hits a message, all replies to that particular message tend to get orphaned, and moderators can't even delete the sucker. We'd have to get Kyle to go rooting around and mucking directly in the database to fix it.. and if he had that kind of free time, we'd already be running vBulletin.
