So I just got my Megan Racing Gauges and I am considering getting different ones because Im worried that they wont match with my Fuel Pressure Gauge that Im getting. So here is the question Is their a way I can light them to see if I like them begfore I install them in my car. I guess it depends if it runs off 12V or not, if not I got find a way to turn 12V into alternating current. Am I right on this assumption.

If it's made for a car, then it's on 12v. Just pop the hood and use your battery...

 

Should and tap into the power wires or just throw the gauge wires right on the terminals?????? By the way im retarted when it comes to wires and anything mechanical.

the plus on red and the neg on black

 

you should just order the matching gauges anyways
