well it sucked cause at the track last night, i was there pretty much the whole night and FINALLY got my second run at around 10 15. this was my first runs ever on my new slicks 28x9s. the problem with these slicks is that it lands me in the bottom of 5th gear going through the traps. i have in car video of both runs.

first run, i was really babying it and had 20 psi in the slicks cause i didnt want to just dead hook on the line and break things. well you will see in the in car cam , that i was spinning all the way through first and second but still managed to trap 98 in the first 1/8th. then at the end of the run you will see i just go into the bottom of 5th through the traps. that was at around 15.5 pounds of boost. it wasnt a clean run, 11.9 at 122 cause i hit the bottom of fifth.

second run, i decided to short shift 5th and get into it earlier, its not the correct way of doing it but it worked a little better. i put 13.5 psi in the slicks this time but still babied it off the line. pulled a mild 1.80 60 foot and short shifted 4th. went 11.51 at 126. the bigger slicks need more power. the clutch was actually ok so i would like to have had one more run, launch a little harder and run a little more boost. there were two wrecks out there so we just sat the whole time. picked up 30 mph in the last 1/8th!!!

i wish i had a trailer cause i really dont want to get stuck out at bithlo waiting on a tow truck that i call at 10 pm cause i broke something. if i can get a trailer, i will hold the rpms at close to 6 grand and sidestep the clutch, then run through the gears like a madman.

i will post the in car camera vids later, you will see how much i was granny shifting cause i dont want to break the tranny like alberto did slamming the gears...

i hate to just go all out and not work my way there in a few runs and just break stuff and not know what WAS possible, just too many people wrecking last night

big thanks to ron for helping out and nice to see sixto and everyone else out there!!!

D@mn, Jeremy...shifting like that and still running 11.5 in the mid 120mph range is STRONG on slicks...Car is making serious power...

Glad I could help. The delay definitely sucked. I look forward to seeing more runs, especially with the new tranny........will be crazy.
