Smile 10.40 @ 134.0 First time driving the Th400..

as copied from my350z....

ghetto short edit, more videos to come.. http://www.performancefactory.com/vi...eremy_10.4.wmv

hey guys, well i finally put in the turbo 400 and got it running, i finished it last night and drove it to the store. felt fine so i decided to load it up on the trailer and drive and hour and a half to this event in bradenton florida. got there and everything was cool, this was the first time even turning the boost controller on so i didnt know what to expect.

First run, i powerbraked it a bit and launched really easy, i was at 15 psi and no nitrous, i ran 10.8 @ 130 with a 1.75 60 foot time. the car was soooooooooooooo smooth, shifted smooth and went very very straight.

Second and final run, i ran 17 psi this time, i powerbraked it a bit more but still not building boost off the line, launched and hit the nitrous this time. i have a 100 shot jets in there but no bottle warmer so it was probably about a 70-75 shot. only hit the nitrous in first gear, it never spun or did anything stupid but go straight VERY fast.

i love the tranny, have a few bugs to work out and it will be 100%. both runs i took off really really easy since it was the first time ever driving on the tranny, got both runs on good videos and will have them up as soon as chris (maximumsportz33) gets home and sends them.

after my second run i had a small issue, i reworked my whole coolant system this go around, i bypassed a lot of lines, well one that i bypasses evened out the flow around the radiator. this caused a lot of pressure to be built up on one side and overflowed the radiator overflow, this water went out and got the HKS DLI soaked and shorted out something in my stock computer, lol, im just glad we figured out what it was after a little bit..

had a great time today guys!!!!!

That is awesome!!! I am enjoying watching you make this thing go....I love the creativity with the TH 400 hooked up. Can't wait for you break the 10 second mark. Regards, Duane.

its funny how easily you broke your old record, only a matter of time before you get in the 9's.

Man...I really thought getting to 9's was gonna be a struggle after a lot more work, but you easily hit that 10.4 and I've totally changed my mind. A little getting used to the set up and some fine tuning is really gonna put you there. Congrats!!!

you know, i thought 9s would be easy but i figured it would need about 22 psi and a 150 shot, i was wrong, i think at 18 psi and 100 shot on the transbrake, i would be there.

thanks everyone though. trying to fix it here ASAP
