Gary, you are right, but we don't want to change the sound of the stock exhaust, except maybe to add the deeper tone of the HFC's.

I already have Crawford HFC's, so unless I want to replace the exhaust and change the sound, the HFC's are really all I should do then. So a Y pipe won't even be necessary?

I considered that one, but I didn't know what it sounded like and I didn't know how much room you had in the Saturn or how much I would have in my sedan.

It's not the money...The Fuji and y-pipe I was considering is actually more than the HKS...

Gilley just asked the best question, but I think I already know the answer. There are plenty of dyno's on my350z.c0m that show gains with simply swapping the Y pipe or going with the straight pipe/HFC. To say the y pipe provides no performance gain is a little off--especially when looking at Fuji, Japtrix and JIC--the bends are almost absent compared to the others...

I definitely want ZERO rasp, so I don't think I am going to mess around with trying out test pipes unless someone knows of a brand flat out that is absent this horrific problem...

IMO, the y-pipe alone may provide a lil extra performance but there wont be much diff in sound

to change the sound you are gonna have to change the whole exhaust or add HFC to make it a lil deeper

my old set up of the fuji+y-pipe had close to zero rasp, until i added HFC and headers.

i still have the y-pipe if you still want it
