Pothole made by bus = Bent rim in South FL
Any fix a bent rim around So FLa?

thanks for the post psycraft.. my rim is bent too.. its a little off when balanced.. they dont have any prices on the website.. have you had work done there?? how are the prices?
^ how are their prices? Im going to call both up after christmas get some pricing and ill let you guys know..

Adrian, go to the risk management office for the particular city it occured in. The same thing happened to me in Clearwater a couple of years ago. I had pics of how the pot hole was hidden, pics of the poor lighting in the area, and pics of my bent rim. The office didn't even care about my "evidence", once I told them the location of the hole they said they knew about it and that crews were already called to fix the hole. They just asked me for a receipt of what the price of one wheel was and they cut me a check. It was almost kind of scary how easy it was.
But on the other hand, expect them to tell you that no one has notified them of the pothole yet and that unless someone did previously notify them, they aren't responsible. That's what FDOT did with me about a pothole on I-95.
You should ask them first if anyone has notified them of the pothole on I95 and that you were calling to make sure it was taken care of before there was an accident then i would recall ask the same question in a different format and if they answer yes then say you bent your rim.
