Yeah Brad is a good guy and he does great work. That like what i said do you wanna pay a little more money for the assurance that you know its going to turn out perfect or do you want to spend a little less and worry that you might have to get it repainted. For me it was a simple question. I went to Macco and got the ambassador paint job.

well not to bash him or his shop whatsoever but for my situation, i didnt feel treated well nor was the job he did "top-notch" by any means. Ryan and couple others have seen how my rear lip is falling off and paint (even though i know it's very hard to match) not close. So me personally i won't be going back. I'm sure he does great work on something like painting an entire car or easier to match paint.

On a better note i'm very excited to pick up my car tomoro at noon. Although she will b out of order for the entire day saturday too for some custom work . Pics on sunday

Too much money??

First of all there is prep time, which is very important, second is the cost of refinishing sipplies your typical pint of paint can approach 100.00 a pint thats just the color! Not considering primer, sealer ,clear and the flex additives adh.promotors etc. Not to mention there may be up to 7 or8 "alternate colors"
Any one who has to repaint a panel two times is missing a couple of things which take time. If the shop you choose does not prepair a "let down panel" to compare the color to your car (this takes some time but well worth it!unless you want 20 mils. of product on your parts) Once they've determined the color is correct, then there is the blending technique which also can be tricky. You pay for what you get. The days of taking the paint out of the can and spraying it on and having a color match are long gone!!! Bodymen and painters have been replaced by "Technicians"

Yeah...Jose's Veilside rear doesn't sit up against the bumper. He payed for installation, but got a ****ty job...I will admit that. But your IP paint match is probably the best I have seen on an IP.

I dont know if i would use the installer you used. I mean look waht happened to your OEM lip. I dont think it should fall off when your going 85MPH. Im sure it looked real good in your rearview mirror broken into 100 pieces.
