Ok I've been busy with work so I've been slacking on keeping this issue updated, but here is the link to the article printed last month.

I want to once again thank RichSRQ and mlg9770 for taking time off from work to help out. I wanted to get some group photos of the club into the article, but I ran short on time at "The Run" and wasn't able to get people together for group photo.

 

Wow that was a neat little feature article on Rich and Mike. Nice little plug in for our club as well. I didn't know you wrote for the Sarasota tribute. I thought you just did IT for them. Cool article!

Yeah...I would have liked a group photo with all the FGC members who attended Zdayz, but it was hard getting everyone together with so many distractions (allot of nice Z's and things to look at), separated parking, and not to mention once the run started, kidcane and I left the pack in a hurry hoping to get a quick finish time of the course (who were we kidding?)

 

I dont write for the Sarasota Herald Tribune, I just do all there IT work. The only reason I was involved was b/c I know the writer that was doing the article and noticed a bunch of magazines on her desk (Sports Compact Car, Turbo, etc) and asked her about them. I mentioned our group and she said she wanted to do an article about some of the members.

Yea things kind of got hectic at "The Run" and getting everyone together for a group photo was near impossible with all the great G's and Z's distracting everyone. I think I made one attempt to gather some people together and then 5 seconds later they were looking at all the cars again.

It's all good.... it's easy to get distracted when there are that many great cars to look at.

Hopefully next time I can be more organized in getting everyone together.
