Testing out the TN kit Friday night
Sorry i was late and missed it Ryan. maybe next time. I got off work late and went home to change and waited for katie and she didnt get home till 8PM. I promise next time I will be there.
LOL, I beat Ryan's time that night! And I even had the opportunity to race and destroy a 2003 maxima (that's for you, dear brother, mdemonte
)
Had fun, Ryan. I wish I could have watched your car down the track. It was unfortunate how the night was plagued by the drag cars breaking down, spilling oil and motor pieces all over the track and keeping us waiting from running on the the track for about an hour. When you left early, they had me waiting another hour before we could finally run again. Chris, Matt, and their friend showed up to watch your run, but by then you were long gone.
Till next time...

Ryan ran a 14.7 at 105MPH. He spun through first and second like dan said and short shifted on 3rd.
I wouldnt worry about the time ryan afterall it was your first run with the new set up and you were on Crap tires. Wait till you get the new tires wider rims to help with traction and dont short shift. I know you will brake 13s.

It takes a while to get used to driving a new setup. Ryan will get it figured out.
Ryan, you should buy a set of cheap 15" wheels and get a set of drag radials or slicks mounted on them. Two wheels and tires would be cheap compared to what you have invested in the rest of your car... and you would be surprised at the difference it would make.

14.7 at 105..from your MPH it sounds like you def started to pull somewhere after the 1/8 mile. If im not mistaken your running oem 18s...and with all that power thats def not enough tire to keep you on the ground.
Maybe when you make it down to bradenton you will have better traction since the track is maintained better.

I had a perfect launch for NA....but then my boost kicked in in 1st gear. I wheel hopped through the rest of 1st gear. I shifted at 6000rpms and spun all through 2nd. I short shifted into 3rd and ended up at around 3500 rpms. I ended up shifting into 5th gear before passing the line. I ran a 14.7 @ 107mph. The car will definitely be a 12 second car at 110mph, granted I get traction. My 18s are pretty much toast.
