Nissan to sponsor ZDayz
Nissan to sponsor ZDayz
Just got this email... pretty cool news
Hi, everyone!
This message is going out to ZDayZ volunteers and primary club contacts.
Just wanted to let everyone know we have updated our site again. What's so important to warrant a special email? Well, we've updated our sponsor list again and we are very happy to finally announce that Nissan North America is sponsoring ZDayZ 2007! We've known for a few weeks, but have been waiting on final approval from Nissan on the website and advertising layouts.
Morris worked hard to get this lined up and was assisted, in no small part I would say, by the success and enthusiasm of attendees, clubs, and volunteers from previous events. Nissan will be contributing prizes for the show AND will be have an onsite presence. In the past, Nissan has always reserved event sponsorship for the national convention only, saying they prefer to stay focused on national events and let regional directors handle regional events.
So, I feel it is quite an accomplishment for the show to get recognition from the national level. In my opinion, there are only two other Z events which are as high or higher profile than ZDayZ... the national convention and the West Coast Nationals. So, I sincerely thank all of you for your support in making our event such a huge success! We have not made a general announcement (other than the website) at this point. So feel free to spread the word on web forums, to you club membership, and so on. I'll be sending out a newsletter tonight to our email list. Finally, expect to see some information soon on ZDayZ promo posters.
