Yes, as far as I know.

I've seen Troopers out on the Interstate with Ka and City Police with Lasers... I'm not sure they both don't use both, but that's pretty much what I've seen.

Yea, this will never pass.

My passport has saved me a couple of times and I am never going to take it off my car.

All the cops I see where I am are using Ka or Laser.

I'm so glad we're worried about radar detectors instead of the insurance crisis in this state....

A little background about the Senator: http://www.flsenate.gov/Legislators/...TOKEN=82183444

Who would care about banning radar detectors anyways .... um maybe the former Sheriff of Alachua County?

Legislative Service
Elected to the Senate in 2006

Other Public Service
Alachua County Sheriff, 1992-2006
Florida Department of Law Enforcement, Special Agent
St. Petersburg, Police Officer

Who would care? Local and state government officials, I would think. Once they've banned the use of our radar detectors, the local and state police should be able to increase revenues from traffic citations, needing lesser funding from state and counties. With the extra funds, senators and congressmen can easily find fundings for their pay raise, better health care and increased retirement funds. Sounds right?

I guess we'll just have to let the senators know of our concerns and remind them who put them in office.
