The projectors throw much more light than the reflectors.

I opted for the 6000K D2S projector bulbs even though they throw out less theoretical light than a 4300K projector bulb. The 6000K projector bulb still throws out much more light than the 4300K reflector bulb.

I'm still happy with the Philips Ultinon 6000K D2S bulbs. The only downside is the price. There was a group buy on them back when I got my '06 headlights. I don't imagine it's available any longer.

And you too!! I remember the night you first rode with me and you were amazed at the light.

The 6000K bulbs are still plenty bright and I'd have no problem using them. Like jb said, they are rather expensive, which is why I went with OEM 4300K.

8000K and 10000K are significantly dimmer.

yes i will agree that my 10k K bulbs are dimmer but i dont think that they are that bad. atleast when i puut them in these they will be alittle bit brighter. i love the color that they have and ill deal with the less output for it. cant wait to see how they are goin to look in the projectors now. i mean i already have photophoobia, the less light is actually better for me.

Can you guys help me out please. I dont know ANYTHING about these aftermarket bulbs. Please tell me anything I need to know about them. Do they cost more or less then stock bulbs? Are they brighter then stock bulbs? What are the advantages and disadvantages of these? Thanks.

hey
what are you trying to figure out??
these projectors are stock housing that come on the 06+ g35 coupe. as far as the bulbs go there are several different options. you can get bulbs that are cheaper then the stock ones and you can get bulbs that are more expensive. it depends on the what you want and the color you want.

are they brighter? depends on teh color you get. as you go up in temp they become dimmer. so it depends on teh color output you want if they will be brighter or dimmer. altought just by changing to the projectors they will putput much more light then your reflectors now and will be brighter.

advantages are that there is much more light being outputed, they are bi-xenon, you have true fog light, and they are a much needed saftey upgrade.

disadvantages = none

I have the PIAA 6600K Super Cobalts, and have no complaints with them for my 06 Projectors.
