i gotta agree with u . i have toyo t1rs right now and i used to have the uhp's. uhp's have wayyy more grip than these toyos and there cheaper

I vote KDW's because I have them. PS2's are great, but they wear down really quick and get noisy. At least in florida, we can run summer tires all year.

I've had about two sets (8) of Nitto 555's, they went pretty quick IMO under normal driving conditions. Spend the money and get a decent set of tires and use 87 octane

I have had my Nitto 555's on for about 4 months. Still love them and they are wearing great so far.

On average I drive about 30,000 a year.

The problem is that most of these tires don't come in 255/35/19 and 285/35/19.

I think these are pretty standard tire sizes for people with wide 19"rims. You are pretty much limited to Toyo, KDW's, or PS2's.

i have the 555's and they are ok... i got them because i knew they would last longer than the michelins... i wish i got the michelins though... the 555's dont grip very well compared to the pilots... i know i wont buy em again (555's)

Thanks for all the input. It has been very interesting reading your results from tire experience in FL. Since the conditions in this area are different than most places.

You got to find what works for you. What fits your wheels... What's within your budget and definitive to your driving style.

I have much admiration for the PS2 and Eagle F1's but they are a bit out of the price range.

I may have to take a hard look at the Pole Positions, since they got such a good rating at Tirerack.

I considered the KDW's, they are mean lookin' but too loud.

Now those General UHP's are tempting.

BTW: I have OEM 18" wheels.

Would I loose performance in the wet and dry with wider 255/45/18 in the back
