Get over here to bradenton i want to see it go.

Yes, I still have the Utec. I heard the same thing. I asked Jeremy abotu it and he explaind it to me, but I forgot...so I'll leave that for Jeremy or Andrew to answer. All I know is that Jeremy has the tuner box, so I don't have to worry about it.

If you have a TXS Tuner wideband, there is a way to get the innovate display to display the Wideband reading, but............

you can't use the innovate wideband sensor/gauge to hook up to the UTEC. There is some aftermarket software that'll allow you to simultaneously log them together, but the best way is to use the TXS Tuner connected to the UTEC.

In my car, I have the Tuner tucked up high bedhind the dash (can't see it), so I figured out a way to get the output of the Tuner to be displayed on a gauge. I use the dynotunenitrous.com digital gauges, and it works flawlessly. I tis mounted in my ashtray, next to my digital fuel pressure gauge, and they both close up in the ashtray if I want to hide the gauges!!!

Maybe Jeremy used his tuner kit to tune your G and then removed it and installed the Innovate gauge.

In any event, the Innovate gauge is pretty sweet. I know you're enjoying it and your whole G. It has to be like a new car!!!

Thanks for the info! I went back and read a couple of your posts about adapting gauges to the tuner kit. You did some nice detective work there.

Would it be possible to use the Cipher software to tune a UTEC? It seems to give the same info as the TXS Tuner Kit and could be easily removed when not in use... plus it has a nice interface.

if you arent on a dyno or at the track, tuning it on the street is just guess work. i have been using a tuner wideband on all the utec vehicles i tune at my shop, its much easier and datalogs it all together.

exactly...the only way to street tune your UTEC is with the Tuner hooked up too. any other way and you won't know exactly what what was happening with the A:F at that time.

I understand. I still plan on letting you (Jeremy) install the UTEC and tune it on your dyno... that hasn't changed...

But I'd like to be able to see how the A/F and things change over time after the tune... and maybe make a map similar to one that Jeremy makes for hotter Summer times... or maybe colder Winter times, if I get it installed in the Summer... I like to see how things work, so I'd probably want to get the Tuner Kit, but I though it might be cool to use the Cipher instead if I could get the same info from it, because I already have one... and using the Cipher instead of the Tuner Kit would free up an OS spot for an Innovate A/F gauge that I'd also like to use... Just trying to figure out what I want to do...

When you install a UTEC for someone, and tune it for them, do they usually buy a Tuner Kit, or, do you use your Tuner Kit and then remove it after the tune?

Yup. Jeremy uses his Tuner Pro on anyone's car who has a Utec.
