yup,what's crazy is that the car was stupid fast @ 9lbs the pull it had was sweet! can't wait to see what 14-15lbs of boost feels like!

hey man, ok got the motor out and everything off today. the right manifold has a hairline crack in it for sure, i will be getting that welded up for ya. two of the wastegate gaskets were completely blown out.


i kinda have some bad news too about that sound that we heard when we went for the drive. the turbos (both) have pretty bad shaft play. if you push either of them to the side, they hit the housing pretty bad. i hate issues lke this but turbos just get worn after being used for a while. there are a few options, i can take them to a local shop that is very very good to get them reworked, we can send them to a shop in texas called Force Performance who only works on turbos (410 each), we can send them out and get them upgraded to 20Gs, not sure on the price on that, or we can buy some bigger turbos.

i just want you to know that i want it all done correctly and put back together right so we dont have to take it back apart any time soon.

i will be getting you some more prices tomorrow and will let you know.

if you ask matt, chris or vic, they will tell you about the play in the shafts,
let me find out the best option though tommorrow and let you know.

Yea, I stopped by the shop today, Jeremy was showing me your motor, those turbo's have some really bad play... That definately was the metal to metal sound.

Funny thing my motor is right next to yours with my turbos also mounted to my manifolds you can play with my shaft (wow that sounded gay...) on the garret turbo on my APS setup and see the difference of play between both.

Winston,

you sound like a man with his head on his shoulders. once you get much over 500whp, it become rather useless. If you can't put the power down until 4th gear, what's the point???
