Yeah i know. But figure in a good 15%-20% drivetrain power loss and you still into the 300's or 6-7 HP short! Not too bad. I know auto will hit the 300 WHP if not BARELY hit it and MT will definitely be on it or above 300 WHP

It is very difficult to hit 300 rwhp with a stock bottom end.

Trust me... I am a little over 13 horsepower away from the magic 300 number and I'm getting set to build a complete motor...

Well, I'm just saying that I have everything modified in my intake/exhaust except for the headers...pullies are done too. I'd like to hit the 300 rwhp mark without having to do headers. I may look into some better cats or test pipes tho. My mod list shows what I have done so far. P Its way more than just headers, I know that lol

Like he said you are not going to hit 300whp without having to pull the whole motor and put some work into it. You will also need headers. What is the big deal about headers?

It's got a couple of bolt-ons... Here's a link to my Car Domain page:

Yea, it seems so close, but it's actually so far away. It's possible that I could get 300 by adding cams, but my goal isn't just to break 300whp on a dyno. Plus, you have to just about take the motor out of one of these cars to put cams in... might as well swap motors. I want a nice running engine that will be built to stay together and run well.

I've been talking to Jeremy about building a nice NA motor for quite a while. I have a spare revup motor now, so it's time to do it. Jeremy's got some good ideas, so we're going to go for it. I'll be able to drive my car while Jeremy works on my new motor, then we'll just swap them out.

Nah... I wanted to get a set of Mickey Thompson ET Street Drag Radials, but they stopped making them for a while.

Awesome man! Well good luck with the build and start a thread to keep us all updated on what happens.

Also, what kind of tune have you done to your car with that osiris? What have you changed?
