305 hp NA!!

copied from my thread on my350z...

in case you dont know the car http://www.my350z.com/forum/showthread.php?t=255966

finally hit 300 today with the little project. i threw on some cheap TS headers and retuned it a bit and had many many consistent runs between 300-305.

there is definitely some crazy cam timing issue going on by the graphs, i can not straighten out some dips and hills in the graph no matter what i throw at it

we then did some crazy things, we tried out a Injen cold air, it lost 8 hp, we tried attaching the maf right to the TB, lost 15 hp, tried doing all kinds of crazy things and the stock air box still makes more power than anything we did.

now we are going to try to port the plenum neck and possibly the throttle body.
not easy to make power with these things NA. cams soon with more dynos.

if anyone wants to throw something on the car and dyno it, feel free to send it to me and i will give an unbiased opinion. hell if it makes power, i will pay you for it.

thanks everyone!!

remember, these numbers cant be changed , altered or fabricated. its a Dynojet 224. this is the standard correction that we use on everything and SAE it made 298 exactly. tried everything to get 2 more out of it but wasnt happening with this set up.

If i could build my car anyway, it would be this way! What is more sick than a 300 WHP NA Z or G? IMO not to much out there is as cool as this thing! Congrats on the build jeremy! Maybe someday when i have enough money (never) i will have you build me something like this.

I wonder how the stock box would compare to the Stillen air box...

what air filter is on your stock box?

dont think so. my buddy back in stl had the first g in the city since 03. he was all motor and putting out about 304rwhp. think he changed some things around and is running a 100 shot or something for the track now.

not on a dynojet. not possible. tooo many kinds of dynos with too many variables. he was probably on a dynopak which have hit 300 many of times.

then they go to a dynojet and put down 260.

i have stock motor twin turbo charts that someone brought me of their G on a dynopak making 480hp. again, not possible
