08/16/07 Unveiling of the G37 Coupe @ Atlantic Infiniti

I was talking to my Dad a lil while ago and he just told me that Atlantic Infiniti is having an Unveiling party on Thursday August 16th 2007 from 5pm-8pm. He's the finance manager up there and he's helping plan it, so, from what he's told me there is going to be food, drinks and stuff on the house. They would like the FGC board members to come out to this event and would love the support from everyone here.

Soooo sign up if your gonna be there because i'll be there for sure.

Maybe we can meet up before and roll out like we did at the boba meet also.

I got the notice/invitation thingy in the mail as well. That being said, I'm with Lyndon: tell your dad (finance manager) that the service department seems to HATE all of us with modified cars. I personally take so much crap from those guys every time I come in, even for the most mundane of issues. They are entirely combative to the whole modification scene, which makes little sense seeing as Lokey and others are entirely modification friendly. It's not like I have a 1995 Civic that has been home-made modified in my garage or something, and I have spent a lot of money on my car modifying AND maintaining it. I also have the income and work experience to combat their BS, but it is overly tiresome and honestly, it shouldn't have to be that way...

its not even that cass, they're just freaking stupid. it took them 3 tries to order a plastic rock overlay for the side. and only then did they figure out they dont install them, a body shop does. also, their prices are ridiculous when it comes to anything simple.

I used to feel that way about the service department too, (they curbed one of my volk wheels!argh ) but ever since then i've been dealing with the service manager, rob smullen, and I've been well taken care of.

I'll be there after work for the unveiling. I gotta see the rear end in person.

the manage almost had me arrested the last time I was there because I refused to leave after refusing to deal with anyone that was his level or lower. The assistant GM came and resolved my issue instead and diffused the whole situation--that was blown up by him...
